TITAN High pressure metering machine


   
Ekosystem has carefully designed and manufactured a very flexible, reliable, user-friendly and easy-to-maintain high pressure metering machine to meet the different requirements of PU market.

The main configuration of this metering unit consists of:

A) TANKS MODULE

· Two vertical dacketed tanks (100/250 litres capacity each, 10 bar PED test).
· Manometer for tank pressure reading.
· Compressed air pressurisation group.
· Spring-operated and rapid-release safety valve.
· Blind flange for manual load.
· Pipe for component feed to pertaining metering group.
· Flexible hose for component return to tank.
· Automatic filling valve.
· Compressed air feed group.
· Heat exchangers with thermoregulation system.


B) POLYOL/ISOCYANATE METERING MODULE

· Filter fitted at high-pressure pump suction port.
· Direct-reading pressure gauge for pump feed pressure.
· High-pressure, axial pistons pump with changeable delivery.
· Double speed drive motor.
· Motor/pump coupling system via mechanical coupling.
· Direct-reading digital pressure gauge for recycle and pouring pressures.
· Tandem pneumatic-operated flow valve for component recycle in either the tank or head directly through jets.

C) HEAD CONTROL MODULE

· Oil storage tank (75 litres capacity).
· Gear pump.
· Motor (directly coupled to pump via elastic coupling).
· Visual level.
· Thermometer visualising the working temperature of hydraulic oil.
· Oil load union and pertaining dust-proof filter.
· Heat exchanger to thermoregulate external oil so avoiding any possible water leakage inside the tank.
· Hydraulic accumulator to ensure the proper working of pouring head.
· Oil filter at pump suction port with pertaining electric safety contact.


D) HIGH PRESSURE, "EKS" MIXING HEAD

A very user-friendly and compact head of new concept available in different models to meet any production need.

· Hydraulic system for head opening/closing.
· Jets groups with adjustable pressure.
· Certified flexible hoses.
· Jets, type static and mechanical-controlled.
· Possibility of controlling the ratios in head directly.
· Head-holder boom with balancer.
· Remote push buttons panel to control the recycle-pouring operations as well the choice of times, having the following main functions:
· pouring programs choice by means of 4 figures digital display;
· visualisation of pouring times;
· luminous button for cycle start;
· button for stop cycle;
· emergency push button;
· handle.


E) MACHINE CONTROL MODULE

· Power switch.
· Start/stop buttons for metering pumps and hydraulic unit.
· Siemens Simatic S7-200 PLC for sequential control of functions, timers, counters and processing analogical functions.
· Touchscreen 6" operator board to set and control the parameters related to pouring and the alarm diagnostic.
· Automatic thermoregulation of components.
· Automatic engagement of metering pumps and hydraulic unit during the working phases.
· Automatic safety control on component pressures.
· Setting and visualisation of 30 working programs through a digital display.
· Visualisation of any possible alarm.
· Software configuration to handle printer.
