The use of c-pentane and n-pentane
as alternative blowing agents is extremely recommended in
those applications where low density rigid formulations fit
for insulation are utilised.
These
alternative blowing agents offer a lot of advantages such
as:

Insulation and structural stability of high quality
· Lower final densities
· Lower costs of formulations
· Observance of Montreal Protocol aiming at fully eliminating
all the hazardous CFC.
